@glens_bakehouse Was On My To Review List For A Long Time Now And Finally I Had A Chance To Visit Them On A Fine Saturday Evening. Had To Opt For The Out Door Seating Area As We Had A Dachshund With Us. This Place Is Always Filled With Dessert Lovers And At Times It's Not Easy To Get A Table In Here.

The Menu Include's:
1) Mango Cheese Cake - Rs 170
2) Frozen Mud Pie - Rs 175

Alot Of Them Have Recommend Me To Try Out The Mango Cheesecake, Had So Much Expectation's For This Cake But It Wasn't As Good As What I've Heard About It. The Base Of The Cake Didn't Quite Work Out For Me But The Main Layer Which Was The Mixture Of Mango And Cream Cheese, That Was Amazing.

Now The Mud Pie I Loved, It Was So Good, Honestly It Was A Chocolate Overdose But It Had A Perfect Balance. A Definite Must Try At Glen's.

What With The 'Rona And My Day-Time Occupation, Travelling For Food Or Otherwise, Kinda Got Chucked Onto The Back Burner. Until That Nearly-Cathartic Visit To Bangalore A Few Months Ago That Is.

A Visit To @glens_bakehouse Was In Order, After Almost A Whopping Year And A Half. This Time Round, We Walked Into The Indiranagar Branch, One Of Glen's More Glamorous Outlets.

Here's What I Had:

1) Cheese Croissant - Rs 68
2) Mushroom Puff - Rs 42
3) Classic Chicken Soup - Rs 175

Where Do I Begin Exulting In How Deliciously Flaky And Buttery The Airy Layers Of This Croissant Were. To Think That It's Priced Like A Gem is The Whole Box Of Cherries, Not Just The Single One On A Cake. Buttery Aromatic And With Immaculate Flaky Layers, However The Amount Of Cheese Added Paled In Comparison To The Rest Of The Aspects And So, We Found That Inadequately Added. Little To No Cheesiness.

Atop This Little Puff-ling Was A Rich And Creamy Mushroom Spread Which Left Nothing To Grumble About. The Filling Though, Was A Tad Lacking, But Given The Affordability It Just About Cuts Into Being Acceptable.

Gotta Be Frank Here. This Soup Wasn't My Choice Or Order, But Something My Friend Had Had. You Know Your Friendly Camera-Lad. Couldn't Resist Clicking A Good Shot.
